I know summer doesn’t officially start until tomorrow, but the weather disagrees. We’ve been in summer here in Champaign since we started with 80 degree temperatures in April. Now, it’s been in the mid 90s and supposed to stay that way the rest of the week.
I’m fortunate that I have air conditioning and don’t need to go out much. I changed that up yesterday when I took my nieces and nephew to The Forge Lemont, a huge adventure park in Chicagoland. They had a blast rock climbing, ziplining, and more. I spent most of my time taking photos in the shade, but I did get on the water for a wheelchair accessible canoe ride.
It took awhile after my fall and surgery in April to get back on track, but I’m just about there. Check out what I’ve been doing:
Wine And Spirits Travel
Finally in Alaska: A Day in Juneau
Discovering Skagway with Princess Cruises
Bezzy
Juggling COPD and Other Conditions
Wander
Follow the Blues Brothers to Joliet Prison

I’m doing some trip planning for the rest of the year and will have some details soon!
Until next month….
